Cancellation / Make-up Policy
Lessons are scheduled on a weekly (or agreed) basis. Payment for lessons must be made in advance for a single lesson or for a block (4, 8, 12 lessons) before the first lesson in the block.
If the student cancels at least 24 hours before the lesson time, the lesson may be rescheduled or credited toward another lesson.
If cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the lesson or the student fails to attend (“no-show”), the full lesson fee will be charged and no make-up will be given.
If the teacher cancels, the lesson will be rescheduled or credit/refund will be given.
Unused lessons in a paid block which are cancelled by the student (outside of the notice period) are non-refundable, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
For long blocks (e.g. 12 lessons), the student may cancel up to 2 sessions in that block with sufficient notice; additional cancellations will be treated under the standard policy.
Breaks or holidays: if advance notice of known absences is given when booking, these will be factored in; otherwise standard policy applies.
